Japanese Puzzle Box or Secret Box was created in 1893 (late Edo Period) which is the time when when many traditional handicrafts development matures. This set of 3 puzzle boxes are made with “yosegi”, a marquetry technique back in the old days. Each wooden box takes 4 actions to open to unveil the inner item.
