Kanazawa Japan is renown for producing gold leaf since the Edo Period around 400 years ago. A gold leaf is made by beating gold into an extremely thin sheet with a thickness of 0.1 to 0.125 millionths of a meter which is so thin that it disappeared when you rub with fingers. This gold leaf name card holder features Kenrukoen Garden which is the top attraction of Kanazawa.

How to care for Gold Leaf Crafts

Gold leaf crafts have a slight smell. Please wash with warm water before use.
Air the lacquerware for a few days will reduce the odor.
Keep out of direct sunlight and dry areas.
Do not use polish or rough cloths to clean.
Wash with warm water (and soap, if necessary) after use.
Be careful not to leave it in the water for a long time. Dry immediately with soft cloth.
